The Bamboozler Climbing Net is made with lots of natural, bird safe items for your parrot to climb on and chew. With bamboo slices coloured with food safe vegetable dyes, coconut discs and abaca rope, there’s tonnes for your active parrot to enjoy. You can use this inside most cages, you can attach one end to the top of your birds cage with the other end attached to hooks on the wall as play area above the cage or use it in an aviary or separate play area. Hanging it from plastic chain for your ‘little monkey’ to climb on is another great way your parrot can enjoy this great climbing net.
The Bamboozler measures 80 x 35cm and comes with 4 small quick links to attach it to your birds’ cage, aviary or play area.
This is well designed, foraging toy made by the Australian company ‘My Parrot Shop’. You can hide treats, beads and normal diet/pellets within the many ‘wells’ of this toy which are placed on each level of the pyramid (except for the top block).
Your bird will need to spin the levels to access the food wells and get their reward. It is made with 100% stainless steel hardware, including the large quick link and uses safe, vegetable dyed timber. Each pyramid is slightly different and colours vary.
The large measures 17 x 17cm wide and 26cm tall. Small and medium are also available.
Great for use as a treat in dry food foraging toys for birds that eat plain pellets as their regular diet. This food is designed for South American Breeds of parrot as a base-diet, in conjunction with vegetables and fruits. I prefer to feed a plain pellet with lower energy and use these as treats as well as daily vegetables and fruit.
This variety comes in one size only but is the same as the ‘small’ in the Nutriblend range. Each pellet is slightly smaller than a green pea.
The Creative Foraging Systems Box Feeder toy is great for feeding your birds’ dry food and treats. Fill with a mix of food and bird safe foraging substrate to make the food harder to get to.
Your bird will need to chew open the cardboard box to access the rewards inside! This starter pack comes with 10 refill boxes which come with a ‘honeycomb divider’ to separate the box into 8 compartments, prolonging the foraging enjoyment! Refill packs of 15 boxes can be purchased separately in my store.
This toy is the larger of the 2 sizes (shown together in last images) and is made from tough polycarbonate and will hold up against even the tougher beaks. It comes in clear, as pictured and attaches to the side of the cage using a polycarbonate screw/washer that fits most cage and aviary bars. Be careful not to cross thread these when tightening them as the screw pieces will snap!
This great little climbing net is ideal for those smaller feet and beaks! Designed with Budgies, Lovebirds & Cockatiels in mind, the diameter of the rope pieces is 3-4mm. It is made from hemp which is a natural fibre that is a lot safer for your bird to nibble on than cotton or other ropes. It is actually small enough to fit reasonably within your birds cage, or can be set up as part of a play area out of the cage.
The net measures 40cm x 40cm and doesn’t come with hanging links. You can purchase these separately or hang around existing perches if you get creative.
Wow! We love the new T Perch by Planet Pleasures! This is a new design that is a great addition to a shared cage or aviary of small parrots to enjoy or for your ‘little monkey’ in their play area or cage, it’s a great climbing toy! The diameter of the perch is 1.25cm which makes it perfect for the small feet of Budgies through to Caiques. It is made from natural, bird safe abaca rope.
The T Perch measures 30cm tall and 45cm wide. It comes with a sturdy loop at the top to attach a hanging link too. Quick links are the most suitable link as the diameter of the loop is a bit snug for a standard pear clip. However, a c-link and straw bead would also do the job well.
The new Parrot Pinata is a great toy with lots of soft, vegetable tanned leather to chew. You can stuff dry food treats and paper wrapped parcels into the pinata for your parrot to forage for. There’s finger traps inside and birdy bagel bites hanging from lengths of more leather.
It measures 20cm tall and 19cm tall in the body of the toy, hangs a total of 42cm tall including the small quick link and lengths of leather.
