    Hanging Sphere

This toy is perfectly designed for feeding your small parrot their fruits and vegetables. You could also fill with shredded paper, large pellets/nuts and parcels.

Your bird just needs to reach their beak into the slots/openings in this toy to pull out their prize! Wrapping your birds’ chunks of fruit and vegetables will prolong the enjoyment of this toy as your bird chews through the paper to get to their reward. Believe it or not, this toy can actually help to reduce mess and wastage. Every beak-full of food your bird gets out, he has to purposely chew/work for so more often than not, he’s not going to throw it all over your walls!
The Hanging Sphere is 8cm in diameter, 21cm long in total and is made from tough polycarbonate. It is best suited to birds with smaller beaks, for Indian Ringnecks and larger, the Buffet Ball is better suited.

    Cage Mounted Buffet Ball (3″)

This toy is perfectly designed for feeding your bird fruits and vegetables.

The tray also catches small pieces of food for your bird to come back to later.

    Space Circles

This rolley polley toy is great for feeding your bird dry food and treats. Your clever parrot will need to push and tilt or shake the toy to get to their reward.

The 'Space Circles' is a figure 8 shape and hangs from the centre of the '8'. When hanging, the toy sits so the treat is at the lower end and your bird will need to push the higher end down and also move it side to side to work the reward through the track, to the opening. You can fill it with bird safe foraging substrate to make the treats harder to get to or use a foraging foot toy like a 2cm Vine Ball or Mini Feather Weight. The Space Circles makes a delightful rattling sound as your bird shakes it, due to the beads sealed inside the protruding arms of the toy which your bird can use as a handle.

This toy is made from tough polycarbonate and will stand up to even the the rougher beaks. It hangs 23cm long on a small quick link and chain, it is 16cm across the '8' and 2.5cm thick.

    Natural 2cm Vine Balls (each)

Vine Balls are a great, versatile item. They can be used as a chewable foot toy, put food inside and use it within a foraging toy or even on its’ own as a foraging foot toy! Lastly, they make a great toy part as you can thread them onto wire, chain or rope as part of a toy.

Each vine ball is made from wound grape vine and is roughly 2cm in diameter, but do vary as they are natural products. Larger vine balls are also available in my store.

    Bottom’s Up

This is a very popular foraging toy that is great for the smaller breeds of birds. It is easy to teach your bird to use and can also be made more difficult. Fill it with your bird’s favourite treats, and their normal diet, mixed with bird safe foraging substrate. You can use Mini Feather Weight Foot toys, vine balls and other items in this toy as well as treats. The photos show the toy with these items in use. It comes brand new and empty.

Your bird will need to lift the light, plastic lid and reach their head into the cup to access their reward. The cups and lids move around freely on a long length of nickel plated chain. While your bird is learning to use the toy, you can sticky tape the lids open or partially open to make it easier for them. Then change to no tape, with the lids sitting loosely once your parrot knows that they can get the food with the lid lifted. You can even start sticky taping the lids closed once your parrot is really good at this toy! They will need to chew through the tape to open the lid! (avian vet recommended/safe).

    Smarty Stick

The Smarty Stick is a small hanging foraging toy made out of hard timber. Each of the 6 coloured dots is removeable and has a ‘well’ underneath that you can hide small treats in for your bird to retrieve.

Put small pieces of nuts, flavoured pellets or a sunflower seed under the dot and teach your parrot to remove the dot to find the reward. The Smarty stick is 2.5cm thick and 10cm long but hangs nearly 20cm long from stainless steel chain and ‘o’ ring at the top. Hanging links can be purchased separately if required.

This toy is also available in my store in foot toy ring version. It is called the ‘Smarty Ring’.

The dots can be quite well hammered in at first, please let me know if you’d like my assistance removing them for the first time or if your parrot would prefer to dig them out themselves!

    Shower Perch

This shower perch made by ‘Super Bird’ is ideal for taking your parrot into the shower or as a perch against the mirror or window with a view. It holds securely to glass or tile surfaces with 3 suction cups and folds away easily for when not in use. It comes in white/blue as pictured, the blue section is covered in grippy sandpaper so it doesn’t get slippery once wet.

The perch measures 18cm tall (height of the vertical pipe along the wall), 26cm wide (width of horizontal pipe along the wall) and the perching part comes out 28cm from the wall, with a perchable length of 25cm. Great size for small to medium birds, like Budgies through to Alexandrines. It can also be used for larger birds, like Galahs, Corellas and African Greys with a little less room to move around. My 360g Corella regularly uses this perch and dances, putting extra pressure on the suction cups with no issues.
Suitable for glass and smooth tiles but won’t hold on textured tiles, gaps with grout or on standard plasterboard/painted walls.

DISCONTINUED Feather Weight Foot Toy (Various Sizes)

LAST ONES LEFT!     These products have sadly been discontinued by the manufacturer. I only have a few ‘rings’ and lots of mini left now. No small or medium I’m sorry.

These Featherweight foot toys are so versatile! You can use them for foraging as you can hide food in the ridges of each ‘bobble’ for your bird to dig out. They can be given as a foot toy, put inside many other foraging toys or hidden around the cage. The rings can also placed over perches to spin or strung on the chain/rope of many other toys. Because they are made as kids toys, with non-toxic plastic, they are as safe as possible for your bird to chew.

I use these daily for my own birds, hiding seeds and small pellets in the ridges and using them through the foraging toys in their cages. Take a look at all the videos in the tab below of the various foot toys in use.

Each ball or bobble is about 2cm in diameter and the different sizes are connected as per the images. The ring measures 9cm in total diameter.
They are available in blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and red as pictured and random colours will be chosen for you unless otherwise requested.

    Mastermind Heart Forager

This is well designed, different little foraging toy, that suits the small guys well. Hide treats, beads and normal diet/pellets within the cones of this toy to entice your parrot.

Your bird will need to move the cones around the heart, up to the top, where an opening allows the reward to slide out of the cone, into the retrieval tray in the middle of the heart.

This toy is made from tough, clear and green polycarbonate and will hold up against even the tougher beaks. The size is suitable for Cockatiels to Indian Ringnecks. It measures 20 x 18cm and attaches to cage with the 2 large, polycarbonate washer/screws that fit most cage and aviary bars.

For Alexandrines and larger parrots, the Mastermind Circle is more appropriately sized.

    Four Corners Carousel (Spinning)

This toy is great for feeding your birds’ dry food and treats. Fill the compartments with a foraging substrate to make the treats harder to get to.
The spinning carousel has 4 compartments with lids that open different ways. The whole toy spins on an axis and has perching areas in between for ease of use. A great way to make this toy even more interesting and add some challenge for your bird, is to use foraging foot toys inside the compartments. Items like Mini and Small Feather Weights, 2cm Vine Balls and small Yucca Pieces work well in the Carousel.

It is made from tough polycarbonate and is sturdy. However, due to the nature of one of the lids, it is possible for larger or destructive birds to remove the lid from the ‘corner swivel lid’ in particular. The toy can be used by (and is great for) Alexandrines, Galahs, Corellas, Cockatoos, Eclectus Parrots, African Greys etc however, please be aware that they MAY break this lid off. Smaller parrots generally don’t do this.

    Parrot’s Treasure Chest

This is a great, tricky foraging toy – hide treats, foot toys, pellets, fruit or vege chunks within this toy for your bird to get out.

Your clever parrot will need to turn the 2 keys the correct amount and pull them out of the ‘lock’ to allow the lid of the toy to separate from the body of the toy. The key stays attached to the toy so it doesn’t get lost and the lid and body of the toy are connected by a chain so it can open without parts going everywhere. Check out the videos of this toy in use!

The Parrot’s Treasure can be used by most breeds of parrots, however shouldn’t be given to Conures, Quakers, Caiques, Lorikeets and Indian Ringnecks until they are experienced foragers as it can be a tricky toy. This toy comes in clear and in translucent yellow and what you receive will vary depending on what stock I receive from my supplier.

Parrots are very clever, but won’t automatically know how to use this toy. Be sure to introduce this toy to them at an easy level and gradually make it more difficult – show them how to use it, let them win!

    Snack Rack

The Snack Rack is a great foraging puzzle for parrots that has 2 main difficulty levels. Hide treats, toys, pellets, fruit or vege chunks within the Snack Rack for your bird to get out. Your bird will need to turn the outer pieces which rotate around the main body of the toy. Great for small parrots (eg Conures, Quakers, Lorikeets) that are experienced with other foraging designs, as well as for all medium and large breeds of parrots.

Each of the 2 outer pieces has an indent which allows the piece to pass over the middle shelf which has a protruding piece. Start the toy at an easier level by having the treat at the top so your bird just needs to turn the pieces until one falls down to reveal the treat. For Alexandrines and larger parrots, you can later increase the difficulty by putting the treat in the bottom level and your bird will need to turn and LIFT the top level to get it over the shelf above it, before retrieving their reward. This can be seen in the videos below.

Please note, this toy used to come in a translucent green colour, as you will see in the videos. It now comes as completely clear.

Parrots are very clever, but won’t automatically know how to use this toy. Be sure to introduce this toy to them at an easy level and gradually make it more difficult – show them how to use it, let them win!

    Rings of Fortune

This is a time consuming, fun toy for your parrot to work with, as well as being durable and sturdy!

Fill the toy from the opening in the top then turn the top cover. Your clever parrot will need to spin each level to line up the openings so the reward falls to the treat opening at the bottom of the toy. The levels spin freely and your bird can watch their food move closer and closer until it reaches the opening.

This toy is made from tough, polycarbonate and will hold up against even the tougher beaks. It comes in clear only though you may see the old, coloured version in some videos.
Measures 16cm tall and 8cm in diameter. The whole toy, hanging on chain is 39cm long and attaches to the cage with a quick link.

The Rings of Fortune toy arrives from the manufacturer with a pear clip attaching the chain to the body of the toy. I find this unsafe as many medium and large parrots can undo these pear clips and have the potential to get their beak caught on it in play. Because of this I change the attachment to a stainless steel medium ‘O’ ring, provided by me and safely attached (closed, safe for beaks!).

    Barrel of Fun

This is a fun little puzzle toy for your parrot to explore and find treats in.
To use this foraging toy, your bird needs to turn the inner shaft of the toy using the forked handle at the front. The barrel can lock in either direction and only by turning the shaft to the central position, will it slide out to reveal the treat opening.

This toy is made from tough, polycarbonate and will hold up against even the tougher beaks. The barrel itself is 4 x 7cm when closed and hangs from a chain with small quick link, totaling 28cm long.
