This wooden foot toy has a great shape with lots of gaps to get a beak into. Made from parrot safe timber that is dyed with safe vegetable dyes, most parrots really enjoy Honey Dippers, they’re easy to hold and manipulate and are great to chew. You can even wedge pieces of slivered almond or certain pellets in the ridges for your bird to pick out. The Small Honey Dipper foot toy is 10cm long at the largest part is 2.5cm in diameter.
Wow, in just 2 days of the website being open, this toy has sold out! More are expected to arrive mid-late August 2016.This is a new foraging design, the most recently released by Caitec and it can be done by nearly every type of bird. Fill it with your bird's favourite treats and their normal diet then watch them spin the toy to work for their food. Your bird will need to spin the whole toy so that food falls into the shaft which has an opening for treat retrieval at the bottom. Your bird can grip and spin the toy from the opening in the shaft or along the wavy edges of the toy. The shaft is adjustable to increase the difficulty and on the hardest setting, it really takes a lot of work to get the food into the shaft. The photos show the toy in each difficulty setting which is secured by locking the shaft in place. This toy is made from tough, clear polycarbonate and will hold up against even the tougher beaks. It measures 16-19cm long (depending on how you have the shaft adjusted), 13cm wide and will sit 8cm deep from the cage bars. The treat retrieval opening is 13 x 36mm. It attaches by screwing onto the side of the cage with the polycarbonate attachment, common among this brand of toy.
The Push and Pull is a foraging toy with a familiar concept, push and pull the levers back and forth to release food to the lower level. Your clever parrot will need to shake and move the levers on each of the levels to get their reward to the opening at the bottom of the toy. The treat retrieval area can be accessed from 2 sides which makes it suitable for sharing too. The toy is filled from the top after twisting the lid off. By filling this toy with a bird-safe foraging substrate, you can make the Push & Pull more difficult for a more experienced forager. This one is a favourite of my Quaker pair, Marnie & Elle! The body of the toy measures 18cm tall, 11cm wide (including the levers) and hangs a total of 35cm from a chain and pear clip.
* Newly designed stopper on top of pole, see the last photo to see the threaded ball that screws onto the pole now. This replaces the previous design of the square block with the button. * This toy is perfectly designed for feeding your bird fruits and vegetables. You could also fill with shredded paper, large pellets/nuts and parcels. Your bird just needs to reach their beak into the slots/openings in this toy to pull out their prize! Wrapping your birds' chunks of fruit and vegetables will prolong the enjoyment of this toy as your bird chews through the paper to get to their reward. Believe it or not, this toy can actually help to reduce mess and wastage. Every beak-full of food your bird gets out, he has to purposely chew/work for so more often than not, he's not going to throw it all over your walls! The tray also catches small pieces of food for your bird to come back to later. The Cage Mounted Buffet Ball can be filled whilst on the cage-mount or completely removed and even used separately. All pieces come apart for easy cleaning and changing. The ball is secured onto the pole by the spring-button at the top and the whole unit attaches to the cage with stainless steel washer and wing nut set. The ball and tray of this toy are made from tough polycarbonate with stainless steel hardware to hold up against even the tougher beaks.
It measures 9cm in diameter and each of the 12 slots (6 per half) is about 4cm long and 8-12mm wide. The whole toy takes up about 19cm of horizontal space and 16cm of vertical space, including the arm and platter.
The individual 3" and 5" foraging balls are also available in my store.
This rolley polley toy is great for feeding your bird dry food and treats. Your clever parrot will need to push and tilt or shake the toy to get to their reward. The 'Space Circles' is a figure 8 shape and hangs from the centre of the '8'. When hanging, the toy sits so the treat is at the lower end and your bird will need to push the higher end down and also move it side to side to work the reward through the track, to the opening. You can fill it with bird safe foraging substrate to make the treats harder to get to or use a foraging foot toy like a 2cm Vine Ball or Mini Feather Weight. The Space Circles makes a delightful rattling sound as your bird shakes it, due to the beads sealed inside the protruding arms of the toy which your bird can use as a handle. This toy is made from tough polycarbonate and will stand up to even the the rougher beaks. It hangs 23cm long on a small quick link and chain, it is 16cm across the '8' and 2.5cm thick.

This is a super versatile little foraging toy that is easy to use and can be made harder for your birds. Hide nuts, toys, pinecones, gumnuts etc, shredded paper, blocks of wood, cuttle fish bones, fruit or vege chunks in this toy for your bird to chew out.To use this toy, your bird simply needs to choose his/her target and get chewing! There are a total of 10 slots/opening in this toy to choose from. For expert foragers, you can easily make this toy harder by lining underneath/inside the openings with thick cardboard to chew through. The back of the toy unclips to make refilling a breeze without having to unscrew it from the bars (can be removed and refilled within an aviary also).

The new Rattler Ring toy from Super Bird is jingly and jangly! This is a sturdy foot toy suitable for the larger parrots that like to manipulate things with their feet and beak. Fill it with your bird's favourite treats, and their normal diet, mixed with bird safe foraging substrate. You can use Mini Feather Weight Foot toys, vine balls and other items in this toy as well as treats. The photos show the toy with these items in use. It comes brand new and empty. Your bird will need to lift the light, plastic lid and reach their head into the cup to access their reward. The cups and lids move around freely on a long length of nickel plated chain. While your bird is learning to use the toy, you can sticky tape the lids open or partially open to make it easier for them. Then change to no tape, with the lids sitting loosely once your parrot knows that they can get the food with the lid lifted. You can even start sticky taping the lids closed once your parrot is really good at this toy! They will need to chew through the tape to open the lid! (avian vet recommended/safe). Measures 43cm long (including pear clip and bell) and 6.5cm wide.
The Smarty Stick is a small hanging foraging toy made out of hard timber. Each of the 6 coloured dots is removeable and has a 'well' underneath that you can hide small treats in for your bird to retrieve. Put small pieces of nuts, flavoured pellets or a sunflower seed under the dot and teach your parrot to remove the dot to find the reward. The Smarty stick is 2.5cm thick and 10cm long but hangs nearly 20cm long from stainless steel chain and 'o' ring at the top. Hanging links can be purchased separately if required. This toy is also available in my store in foot toy ring version. It is called the 'Smarty Ring'. The dots can be quite well hammered in at first, please let me know if you'd like my assistance removing them for the first time or if your parrot would prefer to dig them out themselves!
This shower perch made by 'Super Bird' is ideal for taking your parrot into the shower or as a perch against the mirror or window with a view. It holds securely to glass or tile surfaces with 3 suction cups and folds away easily for when not in use. It comes in white/blue as pictured, the blue section is covered in grippy sandpaper so it doesn't get slippery once wet. The perch measures 18cm tall (height of the vertical pipe along the wall), 26cm wide (width of horizontal pipe along the wall) and the perching part comes out 28cm from the wall, with a perchable length of 25cm. Great size for small to medium birds, like Budgies through to Alexandrines. It can also be used for larger birds, like Galahs, Corellas and African Greys with a little less room to move around. My 360g Corella regularly uses this perch and dances, putting extra pressure on the suction cups with no issues.
Suitable for glass and smooth tiles but won't hold on textured tiles, gaps with grout or on standard plasterboard/painted walls.

The toy comes with a coloured plastic bead under each dot which can be removed or left in if your bird likes beads. Put small pieces of nuts, flavoured pellets or a sunflower seed under the dot and teach your parrot to remove the dot to find the reward. This toy is also available in my store in a hanging, slim version which is better for smaller birds. It is called the 'Smarty Stick'. The toy often comes with the dots quite well hammered in at first, please let me know if you'd like my assistance removing them for the first time or if your parrot would prefer to dig them out themselves!
This is well designed, different little foraging toy, that suits the small guys well. Hide treats, beads and normal diet/pellets within the cones of this toy to entice your parrot. Your bird will need to move the cones around the heart, up to the top, where an opening allows the reward to slide out of the cone, into the retrieval tray in the middle of the heart. This toy is made from tough, clear and green polycarbonate and will hold up against even the tougher beaks. The size is suitable for Cockatiels to Indian Ringnecks. It measures 20 x 18cm and attaches to cage with the 2 large, polycarbonate washer/screws that fit most cage and aviary bars. For Alexandrines and larger parrots, the Mastermind Circle is more appropriately sized.
This toy is great for feeding your birds' dry food and treats. Fill the compartments with a foraging substrate to make the treats harder to get to.
The spinning carousel has 4 compartments with lids that open different ways. The whole toy spins on an axis and has perching areas in between for ease of use. A great way to make this toy even more interesting and add some challenge for your bird, is to use foraging foot toys inside the compartments. Items like Mini Feather Weights, 2cm Vine Balls and small Yucca Pieces work well in the Carousel. The Carousel toy is ideal for small parrots: Cockatiels to Indian Ringnecks. It is made from tough polycarbonate and is sturdy. However, due to the nature of one of the lids, it is possible for larger or destructive birds to remove the lid from the 'corner swivel lid' in particular. The toy can be used by (and is great for) Alexandrines, Galahs, Corellas, Cockatoos, Eclectus Parrots, African Greys etc however, please be aware that they MAY break this lid off. Smaller parrots generally don't do this.
This is a great, tricky foraging toy - hide treats, foot toys, pellets, fruit or vege chunks within this toy for your bird to get out.Your clever parrot will need to turn the 2 keys the correct amount and pull them out of the 'lock' to allow the lid of the toy to separate from the body of the toy. The key stays attached to the toy so it doesn't get lost and the lid and body of the toy are connected by a chain so it can open without parts going everywhere. Check out the videos of this toy in use! The Parrot's Treasure can be used by most breeds of parrots, however shouldn't be given to Conures, Quakers, Caiques, Lorikeets and Indian Ringnecks until they are experienced foragers as it can be a tricky toy. This toy comes in clear and in translucent yellow and what you receive will vary depending on what stock I receive from my supplier. Parrots are very clever, but won't automatically know how to use this toy. Be sure to introduce this toy to them at an easy level and gradually make it more difficult - show them how to use it, let them win!
