Christmas Balsa Candy Cane

This Balsa Candy Cane is nearly too cute to handle! Your small parrot will adore nibbling at the soft balsa wood, which is coloured with food safe dye as well as manipulating the brightly coloured beads with their beak. Jingly bells hang from both tips of the Candy Cane and the toy is suspended from a pear clip.

The Balsa Candy Cane best suits Budgies, Lovebirds and Cockatiels, though it also is great for Conures, Quakers, Lorikeets and Caiques. They may chew the balsa faster than the littlies, but they’ll have a lot of fun doing it! The toy measures roughly 20cm tall (including the bell and pear clip) and 9cm wide. The main body of the toy (balsa section) is 15cm tall. The metal bells and pear clip on this toy are nickel plated, as all Super Bird designs are. This is considered bird safe, but is not as durable as stainless steel. If you prefer, you can request to have the bells removed or purchase stainless steel bells or acrylic pacifier beads to switch these over.
