SS replacement in Treasure Chest

Parrot’s Treasure Chest

$42.40 (inc GST)

This is a great, tricky foraging toy – hide treats, foot toys, pellets, fruit or vege chunks within this toy for your bird to get out.

Your clever parrot will need to turn the 2 keys the correct amount and pull them out of the ‘lock’. This will allow the lid and body of the toy to separate and the bottom drop down, revealing your birds’ treats inside! There are no removeable parts in this clever toy design. The Treasure Chest comes in clear only – the old version of this toy was yellow, which can still be seen in some videos.

Check out the videos of this toy in use with a variety of parrot species! Parrots are very clever, but won’t automatically know how to use this toy. Be sure to introduce this toy to them at an easy level and gradually make it more difficult – show them how to use it, let them win! The Parrot’s Treasure can be used by most breeds of parrots, particularly large birds like Alexandrines, Corellas/Galahs, Cockatoos, Eclectus Parrots and Macaws. While Conures, Quakers, Caiques, Lorikeets and Indian Ringnecks can use this toy, they should be experienced with some other puzzles first, as it can be a tricky toy.

I can replace the nickel plated chain, o rings and quick link for you with stainless steel when you select from the option below. Please be aware that I cannot access the inside of the base, so the SS o ring is attached to a very small amount of exposed nickel plated chain within the toy, as shown in the last picture.

Is a good foraging toy for experienced foragers that has taken my bird a long time to figure out.

My corella is still learning how to use this. Its definitely for advanced foragers or parrots that like to undo screws. Its very sturdy

Great toy- Yes, it is for advanced foragers, or that bird who is always into something with his beak! Only a naughty sulphur of mine has figured it out, I think someone else accidentally opened it but hasn’t put two and two together yet.
