Straw Beads are small plastic tubes that can be used in toy making. They come in red, blue, green, orange and yellow. Use Straw Beads to safely close the opening in 'C' links (as pictured). This is important to keep your bird safe from getting their beak or other parts caught in the opening. C links not included and can be purchased separately.
A standard sized, small pear clip that is nickel plated and safe for most small parrots. Please use stainless steel if you are concerned about metals or the longevity of metals in an outdoor environment.
Always use quick links for large parrots or those that can un-do these clips. Many toys come with these links attached but please check as certain toys and ranges like Planet Pleasures and my own natural toys don't come with links so you can choose your own.
Vine Balls are a great, versatile item. They can be used as a chewable foot toy, put food inside and use it within a foraging toy or even on its' own as a foraging foot toy! Lastly, they make a great toy part as you can thread them onto wire, chain or rope as part of a toy. Each vine ball is made from wound grape vine and is roughly 4cm in diameter, but do vary as they are natural products. Other vine ball sizes as well as coloured vine balls are also available in my store.
Finger traps are crinkly little toy parts that can be used as foot toys, stuffed with shredded paper or food and threaded over perches. So much fun to be had! They're safe to chew and a favourite of many small parrots. These finger traps are vibrantly coloured and all the same (no variation). I also sell standard colours of finger traps.

They're safe to chew and a favourite of many small parrots. Finger Traps come in 4 different colours as pictured. They can be purchased individually and a random colour will be selected for you. Where 4 or more are purchased, an even mix of colours will be selected.
Pinecones are great for your bird to chew. You can also hide treats inside them. These Pinecones have been briefly soaked in a solution of F10 veterinary disinfectant and lightly scrubbed to remove any debris, before being dried in the sun. You can also select to have holes drilled in them to thread them onto wire or a skewer yourself. These will be roughly 4.5mm holes that will suit most small skewers. Large skewers and ropes are generally unsuitable for Pinecones as I'm not able to drill larger holes in them without breaking the core. They are packed into a box with shredded paper, or into paper bags within the box for posting.
Photo coming soon. A 1m length of high quality stainless steel wire that is 0.8mm thick. This is the thinnest wire that I use and is easy to bend and shape with pliers or even fingers. For larger birds, I also have 1.6mm and 2mm wire.
