Though the weather is now warming up, these cord-free microwave heat pads can be a real life saver for unwell and particularly young animals.
Popular with wildlife hospitals and veterinary clinics, I use these myself to provide a bit of support to my elderly pets who appreciate the extra warmth. They’re great for cats and dogs with arthritis, that are more affected by the cold, also for unwell and young birds, possums, guinea pigs and more.
After being microwaved for a few minutes, they can hold the heat overnight.
