Healthy, organic pellets formulated for small Parrots. ‘Fine’ equates to ‘Small’ in sizing. ‘High Potency’ is higher in protein, Omega 3 & 6 plus fat than the ‘Lifetime’ diet, making it best suited for converting birds to Harrison’s (first 6 months), particularly active, flying birds and for a number of medical conditions. It has often been recommended by avian vets that Budgies, Finches and Canaries remain on a high-energy pellet long term, due to their active habits.

HIGH POTENCY FINE – A MAXIMUM NUTRITIONAL FORMULA FOR SMALL TO MEDIUM BIRDS

Harrison’s nuggets are a blend of certified organic, non-GMO verified, whole grains and legumes with the addition of naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, including balanced Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. Feeding Harrison’s nuggets will help your bird live a longer, healthier and happier life. HIGH POTENCY FINE is a year-round formula for conures, lories, quakers, cockatiels, budgies (parakeets), lovebirds, doves and other small to medium birds.

USES:

  • Conversion: All birds should start and remain on High Potency Formula for a period of at least 6 months.
  • Special Needs: For birds that are molting, overweight, underweight, particularly active, housed in a cold climate, recovering from an illness or affected by liver or kidney disease.
  • Breeding Birds: Feed High Potency Formula to all breeding birds.
  • Weaning Birds: Feed High Potency Formula for at least 6-9 months after weaning.

Storage and Shelf Life

Harrison’s is committed to protecting your bird from artificial preservatives. Here are some suggestions to keep your food fresh without preservatives:

  • Squeeze all air out of the bag and zip it shut at the top.
  • If the zip lock gets removed or damaged, fold the top over several times and close with a clip.
  • Keep food in original bag. Do not repackage into plastic bags or containers.
  • Use contents within 8 weeks of opening bag.
  • Purchase Harrison’s foods only in their original packaging.
  • Refrigeration or freezing after opening may help maintain freshness.

    Morrie our Green-Cheeked Conure really loves eating Harrison’s pellets. Before Morrie joined our family he was on a predominantly seed diet and although he now loves his chop full of veggies, he’s reluctant to eat grains, rice and legumes. It’s reassuring to know that Harrison’s pellets are a blend of whole grains, legumes and brown rice that are organic and non-GMO certified. Each pellet is full of natural occurring vitamins and minerals, including Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids and protein. They are not artificially and highly processed, instead they are processed with cold extrusion and without preservatives which means shorter shelf life but packed with more vitamins, minerals and nutrients. Feeding Morrie Harrison’s pellets will help him live a longer, healthier and happier life and who doesn’t want that for their birds. I highly recommend Harrison’s pellets!
