The new Sola Carrot is a light and super-crunchy foot toy that your Parrot, Bunny or Guinea Pig will love chewing.
Made with natural sola plant and non toxic dyes, this whole product is entirely destroyable as well as biodegradable.
Each handmade item is unique and ranges from 2-3cm in diameter and 18-20cm long. Inside is a long Sola plant stem, with its’ bark-on and wrapped around it is a thin strip of sola material dyed in orange and green with food-safe dye, to give it the carrot appearance. Each purchase is for 1 item, some photos show 2 carrots together to indicate the variety in sizes.

If your bird likes to shred, tear, crunch or munch, sola carrot is a great item to get. Plus, it looks cute too when little beaks are working away on it. My scaly-breasted lorikeet is a huge fan and as the sola is quite soft it keeps him busy shredding. Carrot is bright and inviting and easy to clean up once in pieces. We have found the carrot can be lain at the bottom or on top of the cage, stuck/attached through bars, through the sundeck platform or hung down by using a feeding skewer so it swings around for more challenging crunching. My Quaker Oscar loves these.
I push some treats into to sola and love watching him tear it to pieces.
