The Extra Small Natural Chew is my smallest natural hanging toy, at 10cm long. It is fantastic for small parrots like Budgies, Lovebirds and Cockatiels. Each toy is unique and contains a mix of natural items for your small bird to chew.
One of the original “Kirsty’s Natural Bird Toys”, this toy is handmade with Australian native seed pods and other chewable parts like a vine ring and balsa brick. All natural parts are cleaned safely before use and threaded onto stainless steel wire, making it as safe as can be! A loop is made at the top of the toy to attach a hanging link to.
This toy does not come with a hanging link. You may have spares already or you can choose to add one from the drop down menu.
- Nickel Plated Pear Clips are the standard hanging link that comes with most toys and are safe for most birds.
- Stainless Steel Pear Clips are the same size and design, but are made from stainless steel, so will last longer and won’t rust from outdoor use or regular washing.
- Stainless Steel Quick Links are larger than pear clips and feature a sturdier clasp. Suitable for large parrots and can be tightened with pliers, for birds that like to unscrew links.

Description
This natural product is handmade fresh by me (Kirsty). Though available to order any time, natural bird toys are never pre-made or ready to send. After your order is paid for, I will make the natural toy(s) with freshly gathered seed pods. Normally this only takes a few days to a week, but can sometimes be longer during busy periods. Feel free to contact me to check availability or wait times.
These natural toys are handmade and the seed pods are seasonally available. Therefore, every toy does differ and contains a mix of dry/open and green/closed seed pods. Please contact me before purchase if you have specific wishes or want to check availability of certain seed pods. The Vine Ring may be natural/un-coloured, or may be coloured with food safe dye, depending on availability.
Normal processing time for natural orders is 2 days to 4 business days, but can be longer during bad weather or busy periods.

For my distrusting little cockatiel, this was the first thing he warmed up to. Fast favourite, this is such a fantastic toy, he absolutely loves it. Can poke seeds into it as well for added surprises.

My boy loves these! The first to go is the vine ring, which i take out when Im not home as Dusty had it around his neck once but other then that these are a great little toy to get their beaks going
