Wafer Shredder

A new toy that I’m sure will become a fast-favourite. This has something for every-birdy and best of all, it’s 100% shreddable with safe, natural components. Whether it’s the stacks of thin timber wafers, corrugated cardboard rolls or chunky block of grooved wood that catches your parrots’ eye, they will have a blast turning this to splinters. All timber is untreated pine and the toy is held together with thick paper rope, which your bird will also love to chew.

The Wafer Shredder is a medium toy and measures roughly 30cm tall, 17cm wide and 9cm deep. It does not come with a hanging link – you can choose your preferred style from the drop down menu below or select ‘none’ if you have spares. This toy is safe for all parrot species, though I have tagged it as best suited for Conures/Quakers through to Indian Ringnecks.
