Cage Mounted Buffet Ball (3″)

$53.90 (inc GST)

This toy is designed for feeding your bird fresh fruits and vegetables. You could also fill with shredded paper, large pellets/nuts or safe wild foods from nature!

Your parrot just needs to reach their beak into the slots/openings in this toy to pull out their prize! By wrapping pieces of favourite items in paper to put within the toy, it will prolong your birds’ enjoyment, as they need to chew more to get to their reward. Believe it or not, this toy can actually help to reduce mess and wastage. Every beak-full of food your parrot gets out, they have purposely chewed for, so they are less-inclined to throw it away. The tray also catches small pieces of food for your bird to come back to later.

The Buffet Ball measures 9cm in diameter and each of the 12 slots (6 per half) is about 4cm long and 8-12mm wide. The whole Cage Mounted Buffet Ball toy takes up about 19cm of horizontal space and 16cm of vertical space, including the arm and platter.

The sphere can be easily removed from the stainless steel pole for refilling and all pieces come apart for easy cleaning. The foraging sphere is secured onto the pole by the threaded ball at the top and the whole unit bolts to the cage with stainless steel washer and wing nut set. The ball and tray of this toy are made from tough polycarbonate with stainless steel hardware to hold up against even the tougher beaks.
The individual regular and large foraging balls are also available in my store.

Great foragign toy, easy to use and to clean. I have 2 of them that, I mostly use for my Caiques and Galah – it’s perfect for their diced fresh food. I also put wild flowers and grass seeds in with shredded paper sometimes (smaller stuff that falls out of the baffle cage).
